Cheating detection you can rely on. Lightscreen uses industry standard cheating and plagiarism detection techniques, plus our own AI models trained to analyze behavioral patterns associated with cheating.

Cheating is on the rise.

With AI tools getting better every day, cheating is rampant. In one survey, one in three candidates admitted using LLMs like ChatGPT to cheat on take-home assessments, and even live interviews.

Lightscreen detects cheating using a variety of AI models trained on proprietary data, which we refine and tune every day. Beyond simple plagiarism detection techniques, we analyze subtle behavioral patterns associated with cheating that are difficult to hide.

Today’s screening tools aren’t enough.

Other automated screeners report high detection accuracy rates, but these are skewed by easy cases where cheaters paste solutions or transcribe verbatim from an external source. These days, cheaters are far more sophisticated.

We ran our own study, instructing participants to subtly cheat on similar coding challenges across several platforms. We compared results to a blind review by human experts.

Lightscreen outperforms other screening tools at detecting cheating, while reducing false positives that incorrectly blame honest candidates. Performance is within 2% of human experts.
